Hosted Review
Unwieldy databases consisting of millions of documents for review by hundreds of attorneys in disparate locations pose a logistical and technological hurdle. The Daegis hosted review environment provides an accessible, scalable, feature rich and secure solution for managed document review.
Access Data Anywhere
Our review environment is accessible via a secure web connection and offers a host of features such as annotation, redaction, searching, sticky notes, Bates numbering, and printing. Review data can be accessed by document type, by near duplicates, by clusters, and by email thread. Within the review screen, users are provided with an intuitive user interface providing multiple working areas that make high volume review more efficient.
Clients can review documents in native format, eliminating the need for TIFF or PDF conversion. Documents can also be quickly and accurately rendered in HTML or native format. All aspects of the project are hosted in a single location and images, OCR text, and coded data can be searched, organized in folders, and reviewed along with the original ESI.
Highly Secure
In compliance with our ISO/IEC 27001:2005-certification for information security management, the Daegis review environment utilizes various security measures in order to safeguard client data, beginning with adaptive security appliances and firewalls. At the system and user level, the following security protocols are in place:
- The review environment maintains a 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate.
- Exceptional granularity when assigning rights to the users.
- Automatic log-out of the system after a set period of inactivity.
- User activity stored to a database to be audited as necessary.
- All data that enters the hosted review environment is scanned for viruses.
- Access can be restricted by location and time of day.
Advance Search
The Daegis review environment provides full featured search functionality and can combine metadata and full text queries into a single operation. Users also have access to word wheels and related words (similar to, but more advanced than, a thesaurus).
The review environment performs the following searches:
- Boolean (AND, OR, NOT, Proximity, etc.)
- Fuzzy Logic
- Keyword
- Prioritized Field
Extensive Metrics and Reporting
Administrative users have access to the Control Room and can instantly view key metrics in the following reports:
Edit History Report: Shows every change made to a document, including whether the change was an addition, modification, or deletion as well as original and new values.
Document Review Report: Shows, by user or date, the number of documents viewed and modified as well as the rate at which documents are being reviewed (based on documents per hour).
Project Summary Report: Shows, on a review batch level, the number and type of designations being made to documents in review batches.
Tagging Conflicts Report: Allows the QA team to quickly view and assess conflicts in reviewer calls within a document family.
Additional reporting, such as creation of custom reports based on fielded information, can be performed via the review tool and can be exported to formats such as CSV, Excel, etc.
