SAN FRANCISCO, September 29, 2011—Daegis (NASDAQ: DAEG), a leading provider of eDiscovery software and services, today announced that Andrew (“Andy”) Teichholz, a seasoned eDiscovery expert and former practicing attorney, has joined the company as its Senior eDiscovery Consultant. He is based out of Daegis’ New York office.
Mr. Teichholz will assist corporations and law firms in developing and implementing best practices and defensible processes for managing electronically stored information throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle. His expertise enables him to address issues as diverse as data preservation, collections, processing, review and production while also assisting corporate clients with litigation readiness efforts. He will collaborate with Daegis’ client services department to develop the most cost effective and defensible approach for managing clients’ case and eDiscovery needs.
Prior to joining Daegis, Mr. Teichholz was a Director in the Disputes & Investigations Practice of Navigant Consulting’s New York office. During his tenure at Navigant, he worked with clients on a wide range of litigation and investigations on all issues impacting the eDiscovery lifecycle. Additionally, he worked with corporations to develop cost effective and defensible programs for managing electronically stored information for use in litigation, investigations and regulatory compliance matters. Prior to Navigant, he worked for electronic discovery service provider CaseCentral, in the dual roles of business development and legal consultant. Before embarking on his consulting career, Andy practiced law in New York working both in-house and as an associate with a major law firm.
Mr. Teichholz is a well-regarded electronic discovery and information management subject matter expert who has addressed audiences on topics ranging from conducting successful internal investigations to information security, data privacy and data mapping.

Mr. Teichholz received his A.B., with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1993 and his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1996. At Cardozo, he was an Articles Editor for the Arts & Entertainment Law Journal.
