Daegis’ Director of eDiscovery Analytics to Speak at Enterprise Search Summit
Linda Beaudoin Shares Expertise During Panel on Enterprise Search in the eDiscovery Context
New York, May 14, 2012 – Daegis, a leading provider of eDiscovery solutions, today announced that Linda Beaudoin, Director of eDiscovery Analytics, will participate in a panel discussion at Enterprise Search Summit on May 15th in New York. Linda will be joined by Linda G. Sharp, Associate General Counsel of ZL Technologies, in a discussion around the inherent difficulties of using the enterprise search model in the eDiscovery context.
In her capacity at Daegis, Linda leads a team that is responsible for the design and implementation of the data analytics process. Linda and her team execute iterative data targeting strategies, validate the results, perform quality control, and generate documentation for defensibility purposes. Linda’s in-depth understanding of the nexus between eDiscovery and search technology stems from her extensive experience both in the legal profession and as an industry consultant. She was a founding member of the SPi Data Analytics consulting group where she was responsible for data targeting strategies on large discovery projects, and also worked as a Senior Litigation Paralegal and Systems Administrator with a Providence, RI law firm.
“Key Strategies for E-Discovery Search”
When: Tuesday, May 15th @ 2:15 to 3:00
Where: Hilton New York | 1335 Avenue of the Americas | New York, New York
Speaker: Linda Beaudoin, Director of eDiscovery Analytics
Session Description:
Efficient, targeted search is an indispensible tool in the eDiscovery toolkit, but there are inherent difficulties when using the enterprise search model in the eDiscovery context. Because enterprise data is often subject to change, legal departments frequently find that search in an enterprise environment – and the traditional enterprise search models – create significant barriers to generating eDiscovery-related search results that satisfy the increasingly stringent requirements of litigators and the courts.
Linda and her co-panelist will offer tips and strategies for enterprise IT when grappling with the unique challenges of enterprise search in the eDiscovery context, as well as early stage protocols that will help ensure targeted, responsive search results.
