Ann Marie Gibbs, Esq. :: Director of Litigation Consulting
Synopsis of Experience
In her capacity as Director of Litigation Consulting, Ann Marie works collaboratively with the Daegis Client Services, Project Management, Electronic Discovery, E-Discovery Analytics and Data Collection teams to assist clients in managing the ever increasing demands of electronic discovery. She has consulted on projects large and small, serving as an adjunct to legal teams to assist in their efforts in developing and implementing proactive and reactive litigation action plans, from litigation readiness and data preservation through review and production. She has worked on matters ranging from SEC and US Attorney General investigations and high profile, media newsworthy litigation to smaller matters for entrepreneurial businesses. Her clients are various sized law firms as well as global and domestic corporations. She works successfully with attorneys, practice support staff, and IT personnel to identify the specific solution that solves their electronic data issue.
Her skill set derives from the 22 years she has practiced, managed, and consulted in litigation. For 11 years she represented some of the world’s largest, high profile insurers in complex multi-party insurance coverage litigation. Subsequently, she has used the legal, technical and collaboration skills she developed as an attorney to provide electronic discovery consulting services.
Most recently she was a Legal Consultant with electronic discovery service provider First Advantage. Prior to joining First Advantage, Ann Marie provided independent legal and consulting services, was the Senior Litigation Management Consultant at CaseCentral, Inc. and practiced law in San Francisco, California.
