Tim Bacci, Chief Executive OfficerTim Bacci Headshot_Transparent for website

Daegis Inc. CEO Tim Bacci brings more than 20 years of executive experience in private and publicly traded companies. He joined the Daegis Inc. Board of Directors in 2009 and became CEO in January 2013. Tim is the co-founder of BlueLine Partners, a strategic opportunities fund with more than $100 million in assets invested in small, publicly-traded, and undervalued healthcare and IT companies. Prior to BlueLine, he served in executive positions for software companies, including serving as Chairman and Interim CEO of Instant802 Networks and CEO of siteROCK Corp. He was a co-founder of Vicinity Corporation, which had a successful public offering in 2000 and was subsequently acquired by Microsoft in 2002. Tim holds a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and served as an officer on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a fighter pilot.

Susan Conner, Chief Financial Officer

Susan Conner, CFO

Susan K. Conner was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2013. She has more than 25 years of experience as a public company CFO, audit partner at a Big 4 accounting firm and business strategist and advisor. Earlier in her career, Susan worked as a Business Assurance Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”), advising clients on a number of M&A transactions ranging in size from $25 million to $300 million. Since her time at PwC, Susan has served as the CFO at Pegasus Solutions, Inc., a provider of technology services to the hospitality industry that went private in 2006, and Zix Corporation, a Software as a Service (“SaaS”) company that delivers technology in the security sector. She also worked as an independent advisor to privately held companies on a variety of transactional and financial leadership engagements. Susan is a licensed CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Deborah Jillson, President, Archive and eDiscovery, Daegis

Deborah Jillson

Deborah Jillson is President of the Daegis archiving and eDiscovery division. She is a seasoned business executive with more than 16 years of proven experience managing and growing multiple business units and divisions in large, successful companies. She joined Daegis in May 2012 and is responsible for growing its product portfolio and positioning Daegis as a sustainable and reputable leader in the eDiscovery and information governance markets. Prior to Daegis, Deborah served as the Vice President of Litigation Tools, Services and Hosting at LexisNexis, where she was responsible for the cross-functional management of the Concordance and Law eDiscovery software businesses. Earlier, Deborah was General Manager at Access Data Summation, where she transformed CT Summation CaseVault from an entrepreneurial software provider into an industry-recognized leader of eDiscovery cloud-based services. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Trinity College.

Frank Verardi, Vice President and General Manager, Gupta Technologies 

Frank Verardi is General Manager for the Gupta Technologies and Composer Technologies businesses. He leads worldwide sales, marketing, customer support, QA and product development. Frank has been with the Company for more than 25 years, serving in various executive leadership capacities. During his tenure as an executive at Daegis Inc., Frank has also served as Vice President of Technical Services, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services. Frank has held various positions with Computer Sciences Corporation, including as Director of Commercial Professional Services. He received a B.S. degree in computer science from California State University, Chico.

Curtis Allen, Vice President of Client Services and Divisional COO, Daegis 

Curtis-Head ShotCurtis Allen is the Vice President of Client Services and Divisional Chief Operating Officer of Daegis. He joined Daegis in July 2012 and oversees project management and all client services operations.  Curtis has more than 30 years of senior management experience to Daegis, having served as president, CEO, COO and general manager of a number of organizations. Curtis has extensive experience in eDiscovery. Prior to joining Daegis, Curtis was General Manager of CT Summation, a Wolters Kluwer company, overseeing sales, marketing, product development, support and QA through the company’s acquisition by AccessData.

 

Brett Amdur, Vice President of Archive and eDiscovery Sales, Daegis

Brett Amdur joined Daegis as Vice President of Sales in August 2013. Brett oversees the sales team and is responsible for achieving revenue goals and profitability targets by developing and executing strategic plans to drive new client acquisition and expand business within existing clients. Brett was the founder and CEO of Verilaw Technologies, which developed electronic filing and electronic service technology. Brett and his team grew Verilaw to become the nation’s leading provider of document delivery systems for courts and lawyers. Verilaw was acquired by LexisNexis, where Brett served as a VP for Market Development. Brett was also the founder and CEO of Aklero Risk Analytics. He is a former lawyer and law professor at Villanova Law School.

Doyal Alexander, Vice President of Development and IT, Daegis

Doyal Alexander HeadshotDoyal Alexander is the Vice President of Development for archiving and eDiscovery.  He provides technology leadership, strategic planning, and R&D for current and future products and technologies. Doyal has a track record in developing and executing strategies and initiatives that drive revenue growth, increase market positioning, and build shareholder value. Most recently, Doyal was the senior director of Information Delivery and Infrastructure Operations for a global developer of communication and aviation electronic solutions, where he was responsible for advancing core design initiatives across the company. Earlier in his career, Doyal was the CIO at Renew Data, where he led development, product management, support and corporate IT. He also served as the Senior Director of IT Applications and Platform Development for Securus Technologies, the Director of Enterprise Systems Engineering for Blockbuster, and the Senior Director of IT Architecture and Operations for the Auto Finance Division of Capital One Services.

 

Anita Engles, Vice President of Products and Marketing, DaegisAnita Headshot for website

Anita Engles is the Vice President of Product Marketing for Daegis, with responsibility for Marketing, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Documentation and Training.  She works closely with clients, management and stakeholders to identify new capabilities for Daegis Edge, the company’s end-to-end eDiscovery platform, and Daegis AXS-One, an enterprise archive. She serves as the company’s external spokesperson and evangelist, working closely with clients, analysts and influencers. Most recently, Anita was the founder and Managing Director of AE Marketing, where she consulted with companies on development strategies and go-to-market initiatives. Prior to that, Anita was the Director of Product Management at CT Summation.

Doug Stewart, Vice President of Sales Support, Daegis

He has over 25 years of information technology, security and management experience in the design and implementation of hardware and software for litigation support. At Daegis, he oversees IT, information security, managed document review and training programs. Prior to joining Daegis, Doug was Director of Technology at Farella Braun + Martel, where his responsibilities included day-to-day management of IT, litigation support, records and library departments. Doug has participated in multiple EDRM projects (IGRM, Search, XLM) and is a member of ARMA International. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has published a number of articles on information management and eDiscovery media outlets.
